Cie and Karisa of "You Know Me When" will perform Friday at Fox Fire Farms in Ignacio.

After a long road trip, a Colorado folk duo is landing in Ignacio.

It's been more than six years since the husband and wife indie folk-rock duo known as You Knew Me When uprooted from their Nashville home and full-time jobs in 2012.

The duo had initially planned to tour the nation for a full year, however, they never stopped. Since that time they have been serving up their craft brewed compositions, a term coined from their 200 craft brewery performances coast to coast throughout the USA and into Canada. Now based in Ouray, the duo will share music from their latest album "Into the Looking Glass" at 6 p.m. Friday at Fox Fire Farms, 5513 CR 321 in Ignacio.

Outfitted with an array of instruments, You Knew Me When is a Colorado-based duo that present a full band sound.

While blending their vocals, Karisa, who now teaches at Ouray School, provides the piano, ukulele, glockenspiel, and percussive elements. Cie spent several years as the Global Events Manager for Gibson Guitar, supplies the guitar and other rhythms. The cumulative result is a musical style and live show that blends a singer-songwriter soul with a rock 'n roll mentality.

You Knew Me When's 2017 release "Into The Looking Glass" is the duo's third studio album. At times upbeat, at times brooding and reflective, the album aims at introspection after five years of non-stop touring. Physical and digital copies of You Knew Me When's albums are available at
