Bayfield Elementary School announced several academic achievement awards at the end of the school year in May.
The Presidential Award for Academic Achievement honors significant academic growth in fifth grade. Students who received the award are Emily Cordova-Rios, Heyden Ludwig, Sawyer Flinders, Savannah Newton, Ruby Guerro, Logan Rich, Karidyn Grover and Elli White.
The Presidential Award for Academic Excellence is for students with a 90 percent GPA or higher in both the fourth and fifth grades. They are Julie Abbott, Rachel Cook, Owen Eidem, Sarah Evans, Ranae Foutz, Cassidy Hayden, Alex Larson, Kira Lemley, Bridelle Maxwell, Allison Peacock, Sophia Scavo, Caleb Speaker, Christina Sutherlin, Hannah Taylor and Jessie Whitmer.
The following students received American Citizenship Award:
Third grade - Maddison Juliano, Parker Fogg, Arianna Stubbs, Jonah Abbott, Rhian Martin, Brooklyn Orendorff, Dorothy Farr and Maddox Larson.
Fourth grade - Lauren Tarkington, Hayes Malone, Jolean Scott, Bentley Martinez, Madison Kurtz, Cameron Mars, Hannah Hawthorne, William Beckham, Zoey Cassidy and Cameron Queen.
Fourth grade - Venessa Agraz, Trace Crane, Elly Coey, Parker Perkerowiitz, Nichole Cuellar, Caedon Schneider, Maeli Quintana, Tristyn Vavrina, Arriyanna Cundiff and Caedon Ross.
Fifth grade - Bridell Maxwell, Jo Jo Beckham, Karidyn Grover, Trenton Espinoza, Mikayla Cassidy, Caleb Speaker, Grace Goldman, Jack Davis, Christiana Sutherlin and Jessie Whitmer.
